You won’t do sh*t!!

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and you just know that the ideas and the actions that they are coming up with will go absolutely nowhere.

You just know that they won’t do any of the stuff they talk about. It is in their eyes. They won’t do sh*t…

All talk and no action.

They have also been saying the same things year after year!! You know the ones…

I have no problem with it and if it helps them get through the day then, jobs a good one. No harm done to anyone apart from a bit of a banging on the ears because they can go on and on a bit too long…

Dreamers

I want to be a do’er, not a dreamer.

“Happy are these who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true”

Leon J. Suenes

Taking action is the difficult part… anyone can dream!

Taking action is about committing to an end result or to moving in that general direction… it means that you are intimating to others that you are looking to achieve. To get it done.

Taking action also means the possibility of failure, failure means the loss of ‘something’ and then the growth of fear, which in turn, will forever hold you back.

Do something and build into whatever it is you decide to do, the very possibility that you might fail.

With that in place, add into whatever you do the fact that IF YOU DO FAIL – you will then take the time to review and learn from the failure because that is all part of the process:

  1. Do something, take the action.
  2. Measure effectively.
  3. Make tactical changes.
  4. Celebrate your wins
  5. Review your failures.
  6. Do something, take action.
  7. Measure effectively.
  8. Make tactical changes…….
  9. Celebrate your wins…. and on, and on!

You get the idea.

Most people don’t start, so just starting is a success… when started, most people stop…

Don’t stop.

Keep going but keep refining, innovating and setting new directions.

“The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won’t. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.”

Barack Obama

Keep driving forward.
