Waking up with sadness and self-doubt is never the best feeling, but it is conquerable.
So how do you conquer the doubt?
You commit to doing something quickly; a quick action will reset the head.
Every action equals an instant reaction. (or something like that)
Change your morning routine if you need to make a big adjustment and shake off the funk.
This morning I did not exercise. I did not meditate. I did not have breakfast as usual.
I left to go to work and switched on autopilot. Music in my ears. Blank in my mind.
I got to where I needed to be, and then I set about completing a task.
This is what I completed this morning:
Read through some stolen quotes in my saved file and pick a couple (three in bold) to ponder over a coffee and a notebook…
The stolen quotes…
If you are lost in mind, then command yourself to keep going; the light at the end of the tunnel will appear.
Talk to yourself and convince yourself the end is what will justify the contest in your head.
Things do have a way of working out, and what you fear the most is never the same size in real life as it is in your imagination.
This is not the time to analyse things; it is the time to just do.
- The learning is in the process; stay focused on the learning.
Achieving something is a tremendous feeling of accomplishment for yourself so wallow in it.
People will always have an opinion, decide if you want to absorb it or not.
Time is the accurate measure, do not rush it.
- We all wear the same skin coloured pyjamas in the end.
Rich is all in the mind, but the pocket gives freedom of imagination.
Rich people are committed to being rich.
Who are you doing it for? Get that bit clear?
What genre of a movie script are you writing for yourself?
To change habits, we need to recognise them in the first place.
Focus more on how people feel than on achieving outcomes and the outcomes will deliver themselves.
Apologise for the mistakes you make, and then quickly move on!
- The human mind doesn’t run on logic any more than a horse runs on petrol.
The one great quote that keeps my dreams alive today…
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~
Mark Twain
My three things to now ponder;
- The learning is in the process; stay focused on the learning.
- We all wear the same skin coloured pyjamas in the end.
- The human mind doesn’t run on logic any more than a horse runs on petrol.
What I reflected on is for my eyes only, but what did this stir in you?
